Sunday School: 9:00 am Worship: 10:30 am
Our mission is to connect secular people with the life-changing power of Jesus Christ, and equip all of us to be committed disciples who fulfill our purpose in the world.
The Great Commandment: “Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart. . .soul. . . and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:36-40
The Great Commission: “Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” Matthew 28: 19-20
Most people yearn to feel close to God; but they also need to think about God, to attempt to unravel the divine mystery. We do not truly believe in something we know little about. That is not faith but fideism,
or mindless assent. If we desire to share our faith with others, we first need a basic understanding of it ourselves. Christian maturity involves study.
From the energetic music of the band to the reflective waters of baptism,
from creative visuals to the thoughtful presentation of the Gospel, worship is an opportunity to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.. and be
transformed in his presence!
Our Outdoor Live Nativity Pageant is performed each year, usually on the 19th and 20th of December. The sights and sounds of the barn, the animals, even a stubborn donkey and a crying baby, add to the enjoyment of the season.
At the beginning of Advent, the congregation prepares an Advent Devotional Book that is mailed out to over 7000 homes in our community. Our members write of their experiences of God’s grace and provision. This book has been published each year since 1988 and has been a blessing to many!
