Women of Oakland
The Women's Fellowship at Oakland is constantly looking for ways to encourage and undergird the other ministries at Oakland. Making Baby Blankets for Jefferson Memorial Hospital is a monthly ongoing ministry that continued during Covid. Monthly classes in a variety of arts and crafts have also continued. Events meet in homes. Check the event calendar for upcoming meetings and locations.

Fall Craft Fair
The Women sponsor a yearly Craft Fair that is open to any artisans in the Charles Town Area. Crafters pay a small booth fee and are able to sell their products without paying a commission. Our purpose for doing this is to benefit the artist of our county. Baked goods, chili and other goodies are always available. Dates will be decided shortly for the Fall event.

But that's not all! WOO is always planning something -- whether it be making baby blankets for new mothers, organizing craft fairs for local artisans, or looking for some creative, fun way to minister the word of God through teaching and preaching so every woman is able to see her worth in Christ Jesus.
